Very nice in a sunny day.
Mar 2019 • Couples
Very nice and friendly for a good walk on a sunny or warm day. Not sure in summer as there is not enough shade.

Beautiful
Apr 2018 • Friends
Timeless and beautiful place.
When the weather is very sunny it's even more beautiful, people are enjoying a walk to the Parc de la Villette or a drink along the canal (you can bring your own with a picnic as long as you plan to bin your belongings in a trash of course)

Local vibes
Apr 2017 • Solo
A nice activity to capture local vibes and to enjoy walking. The atmosphere is a bit trendy, and you get a different Parisian feeling.
Tip: there is also some space for your kids to play

Other parts of Montmartre are better
Sep 2015
Not much to see or do after "the season". we were there on three seperate days. on the first it was hail, wind, thubder & lightening. No restaurants open and nothing happening. it is not much better on a week day even if it is fine. During the summer it may be great but in September it left us a bit flat/

A completely different side of Paris
Jul 2015 • Couples
This part of the city shows you another face of Paris and is a must: Arty, trendy and a bit crazy. Start at "La Rotonde" (métro numéro 2/5 to Jaurès or bus number 26 (from Gare St. Lazare)) and then walk on (as far as you like) you'll also walk past the "Géode" (which is a 360° cinema and part of the "cité des sciences") and Parc de la Villette (where there are live concerts and other events - all of them free - during the summer months).
Brunch at "La Rotonde" is highly recommended.

Enjoy walking !
Dec 2014 • Couples
Either it is by day time or night time, the walk from Jaures to Pantin along the canal is very nice.
Beautiful light reflection, different architecture and some ground makes the walk here enjoyable.
By the side of the canal, you will have a chance to access the Science museum too.

It is a small canal but with a local vibe
May 2014 • Solo
It hasn´t the touristic charm of the Seine canals of course but here you can find mostly locals doing sports and spending their time. The canal has a green coloured water, some small ships and you can walk along the path with a nice view.
