Amazing view and that’s about it! Ordered 5 different cocktails and all ended up tasting the same, only thing you could taste is bitters probably angostura bitters or something very similar! Honestly, horrible taste but expensive price tag! Definitely a disappointed as atmosphere was truly nice! Would not recommend or return…

One of the most amazing rooftop views I’ve ever seen. Magical. Did not expect that for a Holiday Inn by Norte Dame. Makes my top bars with a view world list. Highlights: - Views: I cannot overstate how amazing the views are. It’s as impressive as any of those city highrises you pay to go up like the Space Needle, Tokyo Skytree, or John Hancock building. 360 views on this medium sized platform on the 9th floor. Just watch the jaws drop of each person as they get off the elevator: - Drinks: fabulous champagne for a reasonable cost ($18 vs others at the fancy hotels) and options for other wines and cocktails. - Cheese plate: one of the most generous ones I’ve seen with large portions of 4 different type of cheeses. To my delight, none are goat cheese either which is unusual in France. And of course the bread to go with it is fantastic. - Area: spacious rectangle with tables all along the side and some seating in the middle as well. - Service: attentive which isn’t a given here Lowlights: - Wait: since it’s not huge and priority goes to guests of the hotel, you may have to wait a while to go up. Luckily you can wait on the patio or Lobby downstairs with a drink and the bartender will come get you when there is space. We waited about a half hour at 5pm on a Sunday, so I could just imagine what the nighttime wait is. Can’t recommend this enough. Next time in Paris, I’ll look to stay here just for this bar view.…

Photos don't do it justice. Fantastic view of Eiffel Tower lit up at night, views to the East and West of Paris. Very nice barman downstairs. Real gem of a place.

We obviously got lucky here reading other reviews but we went on a sunny Saturday afternoon. Asked at reception how we access the rooftop and she said if you buy a drink at main lobby bar the bartender may agree to let you up. So we did and she did. We had the rooftop to ourselves which was wonderful. As I say maybe we just got lucky but what a way to end our trip!!…

Compared to other locations you can go for a nice view of the Eiffel tower -- this is perfect considering the cost of your drink is the same as if you went to view from another location. You do have to wait downstairs until it free's up! We waited to try and catch a photo for sunset.…
