Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We crossed this bridge on our way to the Notre Dame from the Hotel De Ville (City Hall) from the other side.
It is a really nice piece of architecture!

This is another bridge to the island with Notre Dame, it is on the right bank and leads you from the train station down to the church.

A pretty bridge connecting the Hotel de Ville to Notre Dame. You can walk across it and admire the pretty views of the Seine and so many important monuments.

This is a single arch iron bridge (spans the seine), built in the mid 1800’s , by the engineer Alphonse Oudrey and Nicolas Cadiat. This is a really nice area, just to hang out in.

Pont d'Arcole is a single span iron bridge connecting the Notre Dame Cathedral to magnificent French Renaissance city hall - Hotel de Ville. Great photo op of the City Hall and right bank.

Wow!! There are so many in this area, and we tried to cross all of them and to certainly sail under all of them. This one will get you to interesting places on both sides.

This bridge spans 80 metres across from the Ile de la Cite to the Quai de Gesvres and the Quai de L'Hotel-de-Ville on the Right Bank. It is 20 metres wide and was built in 1854 to replace an earlier suspension footbridge. It carries a lot of vehicular traffic.
This bridge was the first to be built without support piles and the first to be made entirely out of wrought iron rather than cast iron.
There is some conjecture around the name as to whether it was named after the Battle of Arcole or after a young revolutionary by the name of Arcole who was killed during a battle on the first bridge.
Nearest bridge on the Right Bank to Notre Dame.
