For the same ticket you use for Metro Paris, this funicular at Montmartre takes you from the bottom of the hill up to the Sacré Cœur in Montmartre. The journey takes 1 minute 30 seconds and takes you to the top of the steps in...More

The funicular is a fun and non exhausting way to reach Sacre Coeur. The ride is part of the experience and if you have a metro pass you can enter for free. Particular helpfull for people with disabilities.

Not easy to understand the point of spending a metro ticket for such a short and boring ride. I guess it's a good think for those with mobility problems or too tired. It works with the Navigo cards.

A great way to get up to Montmartre, saves climbing the stairs and a really enjoyable experience. Definitely a great option for everyone.

We took the funicular up and then walked down the stairs. The funicular was shorter than we expected but the view was fantastic.

The Montmartre Funicular is part of the Paris public transportation system. What that means is that you can use a metro ticket or Carte Navigo to access the ride. It offers people with children, seniors or just tired explorers an easy way up or down...More

On our recent trip, my young grandchildren thought riding the funicular was great fun. I tried to explain to them that part of the experience of visiting Sacre-Coeur is starting at the base of the hill and walking all the way up the stairways of...More

So glad I visited Monmatre on my second trip to Paris. Smaller than Sacre Coeur and with better city views, this is a must stop if visiting Paris. Easily accessible from subway. Take the Funicular unless you'd like to climb over 300 stairs to the...More

I like that you can use your navigo pass on this. I wish the funicular went up higher. My old legs would appreciate it. It’s excellent for disabled, prams and tired people. Smooth and roomy

Lots more fun than the bus and way easier than walking up the steps. This little cable car will take you up to Sacre Couer and the top of the hill. Nice park land around and great views of the city.

It is part of the transportation system, so it will cost you a metro ticket for each way. It is only a 90 second ride, but it saves you from climbing about 300 steps up to Sacre Coeur (if you or someone in your group has... More
