Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The structure is stunning. From the gold leaf to the limestone walls. Def go with a tour guide , if anything to avoid the lines..

Versailles Cathedral, built during the 18th century in a Neo-classical style. As all the tourists just seem to stick with visiting the nearby Palace there is usually no one around.

The Cathedrale Saint Louis is a very imposing structure from the outside - it dominates the square. However, it is very serene inside and quite beautiful. Beautiful details and I loved the doors.

Have seen many cathedrals on our trip in Europe and this is very typical. Lovely large square in front where there is a market on Tuesday but when we went there was no evidence of a market. Large organ - would love to hear it.

I found Cathedral Saint-Louis by accident whilst strolling around the streets of Versailles. It’s located in a beautiful historical district with many gorgeous neoclassical buildings. If staying in the area of Versailles it’s definitely worth a visit.

Very grand inside and out. Standing outside the Palace grounds but is worth the short walk to view it.

This is a nice Cathedral and it has a history that is a key part of the revolution and Versailles. The only downside is someone got away with ruining the altar by placing a dreadful grey Modernist piece in the middle of the church. Go and spend time at the real altar that still fortunately still sits at the front and compare them, then wonder how so many churches have been allowed to be wrecked in this way since the 1960s.

We had some time so we went to see it and we were glad we did. It played an important part in the French Revolution since it was where the people of the Etats Généraux marched from Norte Dame in the prelude to the Revolution. I found it very interesting even though the church is austere. (Full disclosure - I am a retired history professor and I really like this stuff).

We saw this on the map and had time to kill. A large and important church in its time. Sadly with no wheelchair access so we all couldn't go in. The inside was v nice but not as good as the church in the centre of town.
We visited the kings veg garden after and saw just how big the Cathedral was from a distance.
