Visited chateau, late afternoon4.45 closed at 6 , a little rushed but still covered most of it, lady on desk advised usually takes 1hr 30. The short film on the second floor gives a great insight in to history of cite and chateau. Walking ramparts...More

There is a lot of stair climbing on this tour accompanied by unnecessary and often irrelevant sound effects. Offers some nice views out over the modern city but for me not worth the time or money.

We went on the guided tour which I would recommend. The guide was very informative and had a lot of general knowledge of the history of the various different periods.

Great exhibitions of archaeology, history of the castle and the crusade. An impressive venue and access to the wall walks around the city.

Excellent chateau/museum that affords the opportunity to take a glimpse into the past. Plan on one or two hours for your visit, a little shorter with children.

Excellent visit. There are some steps of course, but it is worth spending the time to appreciate the construction. There are plenty of nice view points.
