Great Foodie Tour

This was a fantastic tour! We opted for tour in English and had a very small group. Our guide was very friendly and we saw several places (Halles for cheese and seafood, chocolate shop, patesserie, gourmet shop, olives(!!!), two wines) while exploring the historic center of Montpellier. A must for foodies!!!

Brilliant half day tour

Brilliant day out to two fantastic wineries. Our guide Alice was hugely knowledgeable, funny and accommodating to two language groups. Highly recommended.

Touring in Montpellier

A great way to spend a morning around Montpellier. Some learning on the tour for sure, and intersting to taste pure olive oil. Wines as provided were good, the only thing lacking was a bit more touring of both the winery, and the olive farm. Overall a good tour, and Mark was a great guide.

Excellent guide
This tour was a fantastic way to spend half a day in Montpellier. The highlight was Marc, our host. He was extremely friendly, funny, and knowledgeable. The instructions for pick-up were clear. The van was comfortable (there is a fair bit of a drive to get to the destinations). At the end of the tour, Marc went out of his way to drop us off close to our accommodation because of the rain, which was very kind. The olive oil and wine tours were both very informative and we enjoyed them a lot (As a cat-lover, I especially appreciated the resident cat at the winery!!).

Vineyards in Montpellier
We were greeted on time with such a friendly host who collected us and drive us two two vineyards. She was a very knowledgeable winemaker in the making and we learnt lots! The two vineyards were very different and both had some superb wines to try.

The tour guide was excellent, very friendly. Vine tasting was good and oysters were fantastic. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

We had an excellent experience visiting two vineyards. The guide spoke excellent English and translated for us. All in all a very nice trip, I would highly recommend it!

Enjoying the Languedoc countryside while tasting some great wine, olive oil and vinegar products

Had a great half day with Alicia who drove us through the verdant Languedoc shrublands, in a comfortable minibus to the family owned Domaine de L'Ouvivie. It's a 30ha organic olive grove where they also make a great range of vinegars. Alicia spoke good English and clearly explained the complete process of making quality olive oils and vinegars. We tasted and discussed a wide range of their high quality olive and vinegar products. Then it was a short trip to the 70 ha Chateau Puech-Haut, organic vineyard and winery. Alicia again did a great job of explaining grape and wine production, as well as the fundamentals of wine tasting. We tasted a range of excellent white, rose and red wines in the comfort of the tasting room that had a beautiful view across the vineyard. It was a most enjoyable half day in the Languedoc countryside to complement the amazing architecture and French culture of the Montpellier city.
