Fun way to rest your feet.

The train gives one a birds eye view of the central city, mostly the old part of the city. It starts/ends in Stanislas Square which is handy for whatever else one is doing.

Le petit train offers a comfortable way of visiting Nancy. The pre-recorded commentary is very good even if a bit short, you will have an opportunity to listen to lot of classical music. The train covers relatively small area and it goes very often through the same street (maybe some of the repetitions were unavoidable due to the ongoing works... More

This is a nice little ride introducing you to the city. I had no idea it was such a pretty place. The trip is described in English.

The train ride is worth taking. It concentrates on the old part of Nancy, which is the most charming and interesting. It's money well spent.

It is always tiring on feet walking around cities and this little train is great as it will take you around the old part and also give you a little history on the way. Headsets in different languages, most organised

On a recent visit to Nancy and the Place Stanislas area , the people in the tourisme bureau alerted my wife and I to Le Petit Train and we decided to take it. It's a small train on tires that takes you on a guided tour through the heart of the historic Nancy area. It is slow enough to allow... More

A very good overview of the city with "canned" spiel in several languages. Nice ride through the city with historical commentary.

The train is a good way to look around the city particularly if it is very hot as it was when we went. I thought is was good value for 7 euros each for about 45 minutes and with a commentary in English, you got to know a lot about the city that perhaps you would miss on foot.It also... More

The tour gives you an idea of what you can see in the old town, with some information. The train does go down some streets more than once, this is a pity, some of the time is lost. Distances are so small you can go on foot if you are at all fit.
