Spent four hours trying to find this cemetery. Went to the nearest tourist office in St Dizier and they had never heard of it. The address given on this review is a residential house! What a waste of my day on holiday!

I visited this cemetery twice this week for about two hours each time. It is simply too large to see everything in a single day. I am impressed that there are so many Medal of Honor and Distinguished Service Cross holders buried here. For those...More

Although I have no personal family connections to the fallen, as a former army officer and military history buff, this was a worthwhile experience. The American Battle Monuments Commission does an awesome job of maintaining the cemeteries and monuments in Europe which are far and...More

My adult son and I took a drive out to the American Cemetery during our stay in Verdun. While I had heard of the cemetery, I didn’t know any of the details until we arrived. First of all, the drive out is beautiful...French countryside, serene....More

When in the area, it is worth a small drive to visit this American cemetery to honor and quietly pay respects to our fallen who are permanently at rest in France having fought for us all
