This is a museum dedicated to Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec and well worth visiting. Get a guide if you can and learn more about this charter of Moulin-Rouge fame.

The venue was as remarkable as the art. But the art displayed gave an insight into the artist that really renewed my view.

A lovely gallery showing many Lautrec's works, but I felt that there could have been more. It does however show an excellent account of his life. The information cards on each painting are especially useful & informative. The exqisite Bishop's Palace that houses the gallery...More

What a treat to be able to visit this museum. Of course it would have been lovely to have seen more of his work but it was a thrill to se what we did. The rooms are pristine, well laid out and clearly marked on...More

To have a museum that follows the entire creative life of an artist is so rare, but this museum does it all. It was inspiring to let your mind wander through the creative eye of a master.

Could have stayed longer but they closed for lunch. Excellent display covering his career. Bishop's palace worth a visit even if you're not into the art.

This museum is well worth a visit. In the Bishop's palace in Albi, it holds an extremely well laid out collection of Toulouse-Lautrec's work. T-L is extremely impressive. His early work in brothels and bars shows that he could capture people and their feelings with...More

Many fine examples of his work throughout his lifetime, photographs, and sketches. Adjacent to the cathedral, you can visit the gardens and soak up Albi's charm through the museum by looking out onto the river views.

The museum is a beautifully restored medieval building full of paintings by Toulouse-Lautrec. Definitely worth a visit.

I didn't know very much about the art and life of Henri Toulouse-Lautrec so this was a very informative and educating visit. His humane portrayal of 19th century prostitutes was compelling and heart-breaking....even after so many years. One thing I liked about the museum is...More

There is a lift to each floor, but it is in an old building with the odd step between rooms. As mentioned on the other responses I would check their website to see.

I wasn't terribly interested in Lautrec either but the venue was a beautiful old castle and it had beautiful gardens in back with a river view and I learned a lot that I wasn't aware of about the artist, a nice visit, all... More
