In a lovely setting with excellent hospitality, we enjoyed a week of Recorder music making under the direction of Ian Wilson. There are lovely walks nearby to stretch the legs a little.

I've come here 3 times on the Baroque flute course, and I'll never tire of coming back. The house and grounds are gorgeous, and the view is like an oil painting. Every year I look forward to the delicious food and Jane's generous hospitality. There's also plenty to do in the surrounding area; I'm still finding new things after 3 visits. I couldn't recommend this place more.…

The mill is in an absolutely fabulous setting, surrounded by nature but close to the lovely village of Cordes. It oozes history and really feels as if you have stepped back in time. Very peaceful and fantastic hosts, could not recommend more. We ate delicious food and enjoyed immensely all the activities the area has to offer.…

I had the pleasure of staying in Moulin de Cajarc with a few friends, and the trip could not have been any better! The house being an old mill, you get to wake up to the soft sound of the stream every morning and the view of the old town from the veranda is quite something! We only stayed for three nights, spoilt for things to do- walk up the beautiful Cordes-sur-Ciel, have a dip in the local swimming pool (amazingly clean and just a walk down the street!), drive up to a French market or even go canoeing! Also, for the more musically inclined, the house is full of music with various instruments and practice areas, so it would be an idyllic place to stay for a musical retreat as well. I would definitely visit again and visit for longer this time to fully exploit the southern French charm. The place is really everything I've read about here and more!…

Perched at the side of the river, this beautiful old mill enjoys stunning views of the charming little town of Cordes-sur-ciel, which is only a short walk away. Wonderful music and delicious food and wine were in plentiful supply all weekend. If you can tear yourself away, there’s plenty to do nearby as well – walking, canoeing and visiting some lovely French markets. Relaxing and energising, I can’t recommend Moulin de Cajarc enough!…
