It was a good site to visit. Very tranquil. There were people from all over the world for different purpose. I was not there for a religious reason but was very impressed. All the entrance is FREE but you can give donation which is used for maintenance of the site.

Beautiful view and also elegant garden. Strongly recommend to spend 1~1.5 hour in here, to enjoy the atmosphere.

Easily accessible being in the center of town. The views from the top are nothing short of spectacular and make the visit worthwhile on their own. The guide that you are given is quite basic but adequate and is available in several languages. The displays of typical Pyreanian ways of life were interesting but could have done with a little... Historical Castle located in Lourdes with magnificent views. A great way to explore and add to your Pilgrimage. Our kids had a wonderful experience exploring the fortress. A must to see for everyone while visiting Lourdes!

This is an important fortress since the Romans because is the natural entrance from Spain to France during the invasions, almost 1000 year ago the arabs, trying to escape from Carlomagno, refuged in this fortress and lasted many months in siege until they surrendered. Stunning views over the whole of Lourdes! Came up on a lovely sunny day and had a great time walking around the fort and chateau. Really interesting exhibits inside the fort teaching you all you need to know about its history! Would definitely recommend.

Highly experience when I walked inside the site and touch the rock where St. Bernette was there the water came out of the ground after all the public were mocked at her. But the water is still coming out as of today. Glad I made it here to share this with others.

It is a beautiful place and nice to see from further because you can see the landscape around it. Clean and nice river, very quiet and peaceful area. Beautiful inside and outside. For me as Asian people, seeing European scenery like Chateau Fort of Lourdes, it was beautiful and felt the calmness.
