Wonderful free zoo/park

Free, moderate in size, this is worth a stroll around for an hour or so if you are in Lille more than a few days. Good variety of animals, most look pretty happy although a few... read more

It is a nice surprise to stumble across a free zoo and I do not mean to sound ungrateful but it is not a very good one. Fun for families with small children (and there are a lot of children everywhere), but not adults. It is quite small and boring, the animals do not seem to have much space and... More

As it's free it is a nice asset to the city. Unfortunately it is closed during the winter months. Could do with some signs to indicate where zoo entrance is located.

I was visiting Lille by myself, and was looking at attractions to visit when I stumbled across this online! I was pleasantly surprised and decided to give it a visit. It was quite a distance from the station to work, definitely one for using maps on my phone! It was situated in a lovely woodlands area, around the citadel, which... More

Considering this attraction is free, how can you complain! Some of the animal enclosures are a little small, but the larger animal enclosures are big enough for them to have a nice run, are clean and appear well maintained. Well worth a visit when having a walk in the park - you won't be disappointed.

Nice zoo, it's free but you have quite some exotic animals. The parc is not so big but you can see the animals very well and get close to them

This is a very small zoo, but it's free! So take your children and enjoy the animals and the green environment.

Really strange to find a mid range zoo, very close to the centre, that is free. Great for a walk out, brilliant for kids as there's a big play park near the entrance as well. For a family in Lille who have the time, a great place to go. Did I mention it's free?!

Considering this is free the zoo is worth a quick visit if walking around the area anyway. Situated in a beautiful park, the zoo itself is very small (there are a few birds, monkeys and llamas) but the park / forest around it makes up for it.

Great little zoo. Lots of birds and small animals. Especially enjoyed seeing the huge tortoises. Rhinos were away but back shortly hopefully. I nice couple of hours in a beautiful city

Thank Shak-Clare
