Beautiful Architectural

Its located in the central in the same area with Grand Place (in front of it). I did not enter the building but from outside it looked beautiful.

An attractive building hiding an interesting courtyard. There was a large stall with items for collectors - glass, brass, pewter, ceramics, metal work and maps, old weeklymagazines etc. That was the only stall open at lunch time but later in the afternoon several bouquinistes were open for business. I found something to my taste and shall be backtimimg myself for the... More

We went in as part of a guided tour which was great as we learned about the building and history. Apparently in the summer they hold Tango dances in the courtyard which I am sure must be great.

The old stock exchange building is attractive from the outside, located between two of the main squares in central Lille, facing the Opera across the place du Theatre and the Theatre du Nord across the place de Ch. de Gaulle. Unlike most of the older buildings you can freely go into its central courtyard in the afternoon (except on Mondays)... More

Lovely building and the internal square is now being used to sell old books. Well worth 20 mins to have a look and maybe buy an old poster etc.

It's an impressive looking building but nothing more. We had a cup of coffee in one of the shops on the ground floor. I wasn't aware there was anything more to it or you could get in, similar to most if this area it's not signposted.

My favourite building in the city. Important for economical reasons in the past, now it is foundamental for touristic reasons. Flemish in the style, it's a building that you cannot just ignore. Get inside and visit the fairs often organized inside and spend some of your time here. In conclusion, a building as not so many others in the world.... More

La Vieille Bourse, the former commercial exchange of Lille, is not only a stunning building, it is also a delightful place. From the outside, it looks like a single building but it is in fact composed of 24 identical houses built around a beautiful arcaded courtyard with slender columns. On top of the tower stands a statue of Mercury, patron... More

Dominates the picturesque town square. The open air internal square now used as a flea market of mainly books, posters and bric a brac. Unless you are there to study the architecture the visit will not need more than 10 minutes plus any browsing time of the flea market.

very nice place. You fell like you came back to Medieval era and everything around is historic and expressive.
