Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Had an amazing guide in Guillaume Marie. We walked in/around Omaha Beach and learned many details we did not previously know. What we really enjoyed is our guide's personal relationship with veterans. He shared their stories, which made the event come to life. Would highly recommend this tour group!

We were a group of six (three couples). None of us had visited the Normandy area previously. Our guide was Guillaume Marie (Normandy D Day Tours). We spent two full days with Guillaume. In addition to other attractions relevant to the D-Day landings, we visited Utah Beach, St. Mere-Eglise, Omaha Beach, the American Cemetery above Omaha Beach and Point-Du-Hoc. Guillaume was extremely informative and a pleasure to be with. All six of us would recommend Guillaume without reservation.

I was totally blown away by the knowledge that William had on the subject of Normandy. He was extremely pleasant to tour with, and we really enjoyed our day. I could highly recommend him. It is worth every dime to do a private tour!

We had a wonderful day on our private tour with Guillaume. We had grandparents and kiddos in our group and he did a fantastic job engaging all of us with wonderful information and insight. He knowledge is endless and one day was not nearly enough time to learn all we could have. We saw the German bunkers, museum, American Normandy cemetery and beaches themselves. Thank you, Guillaume for sharing your time with us! We HIGHLY recommend to anyone traveling to the region.

An amazing tour with so many details about what happened on D-Day. Remy was a very knowledgeable and personable guide. Definitely worth doing and not too much walking for those who aren't able to walk miles and miles. Great tour!!

Me and 6 friends from the U.S. came to Normandy to learn about D-Day. Guilliaume picked us up in his very comfortable mini bus and gave us the most incredibly moving and informative day we could have imagined. We had told him up front that we really wanted to learn as many details about that historic day and region as possible and he was the perfect guy to deliver. He taught us about the war from the American, French, English and Russian and German pop, which put the entire day into such context. He was a nice guy to spend a day with as well, and I recommend him to everyone!!! Thank you Guillaume!

What an incredible full day private tour we did with Guillaume. He is extremely knowledgeable and very entertaining, the stories he told us made each site come alive so vividly- the day passed so quickly. He picked us up at our hotel at 9am and we first visited the landing sites of the paratroopers, in particular we stopped at a church where two American medics set up an aid station and saved many lives. Guillaume had the privilege of guiding and befriending one of the men and his story was gripping and emotional. Then we moved onto Utah beach to see beach and bunkers and many memorials. He has a great big map that he pins to the side of the van to paint the picture geographically and illustrate the timeline. Then onto a village featured in the movie, The Longest Day where an American paratrooper got caught on the church steeple. We had lunch here then moved on to the German Cemetery, an interesting alternate perspective. From there we visited Omaha beach and finally the American Cemetery a very moving experience. Can’t recommend Guillaume more highly- he was amazing!!
