We visited Monet's garden in October and it was superb! The weather was unseasonably warm and the bees were buzzing around the dahlias and nasturtiums. The house was a delight - a really warm, homely feel and we could easily imagine the family living here....More

Although we went there in october and winter was just around the corner the gardens are as beautiful as ever. The house is very nicely kept and it has very nice paintings of the time Monet lived in the house. You need to spend some...More

If you want the serenity of Monet's gardens go there at off-peak times because this place is packed by every tour company imaginable. That said, the gardens are exceptionally beautiful looking totally out of control with growth but obviously well cared for. Stunning vistas brimming...More

We went in September, expecting the flowers to be on the wane. Boy were we surprised. Neither of us had seen such stunning gardens in our whole lives, and it was easy to see Monet’s inspiration. The village is charming as well and worth exploration...More

I loved the gardens of Monet. It’s a train trip from Paris approximately takes half a day for return trip and visiting the place. Check the season and go when the water lilies are in flower if possible. I don’t recommend eating there.

A living work of art that must be visited if you are in France. Spend some time wandering through this masterpiece which was designed by Monet like a living canvas. Walk through his residence and marvel at the art on the walls and then enjoy...More

After being in Paris it was nice to catch the train to Giverney and see Monet's Garden. Enjoy at leisure, smell all the flowers, enjoy lunch in the cafe and spend some money in the gift shop-I purchased a great big sunhat as it was...More

We visited in late October and were amazed how so much of the garden was still in bloom. It was a wet and cold morning - we even got hailed on while we were at the waterlily pond at one point - but we still...More

We visited mid-October and were pleasantly surprised to have so many flowers still in bloom. The area around the Japanese garden was definitely turning to fall and produced an array of beautiful colors reflecting in the pond. Great to see the inspiration behind all of...More

We went in late May 2018. The line took about a 1/2 hour to get in. We did not have a skip the line pass either - we toured the grounds and garden. Most items and view-able things in the facility are self explanatory... More

Yes it is better to get in early! There are many tour busses. Go to the Lilly Ponds first. It gets packed. There is just one little walkway that goes around. The ponds.
