Those looking for a documentary-style, information-based exhibit about this eccentric composer will indeed be disappointed (or baffled) but the spirit of this place captures his essence and the spirit of the age in a wonderfully unique way. I am sure many of Satie's contemporaries found...More

Very artistic and very funny. Perhaps not for the serious person who wants to know all about his repertoire. We smiled all the way. Children will love it too.

This is not a "normal" museum! Although "classical" music can seem quieting Satie and his compositions are varied and expressions of pushing boundaries. Walk through his house to visualize creativity in a time long before our own.

Unfortunately, this museum was closed due to a "technical fault", for the entire 5days of our stay in Honfleur. Very frustrating!

The house and museum were small and easy to navigate. Satie's story was told with humour using multi-media. Very well put together. A nice way to spend an hour or so.
