We thought we would only be a few minutes in Naturospace but the butterflies and flowers are amazing. Children would be enchanted

What a find! A tropical paradise in the middle of Normandy, who would expect it? A truly educational visit for families and good for at least a couple of hours. Still can't get over the feeling of butterflies everywhere and birds just over your head flying by.

You get 5 min video of life cycle of butterflies. Then into the tropical garden with butterflies and tropical birds, koi carp. It's only the size of 2 tennis courts but with all the plants and a zigzagging path you can take your time. How long? Young kids desperate to get a butterfly to land on them 1hr. Moody teenager... This is really worth a visit. It's a bit hot and tropical inside, so leave your jackets in the car. It's great for kids too as they will marvel at the size and colours of some of these butterflies, especially when they land on you. Go on, give 'em some nectar.

We were just out for a walk when we came across this place. Not much to see from the outside. When you get inside then it all happens. What a fantastic experience. You don't have to have an interest in butterflies. You just have to sit down and they come to you. What a stunning collection. Just sitting and walking... More

As well as the other popular historical sanded maritime attractions in Honfleur it was lovely to see a space dedicated to the natural beauty of the coastal wildlife. There are some beautiful flowers, insects, birds to see. It is not that big, so can be walked around quite quickly, suitable for very young children as well as the elderly. There... More

Smaller than expected but packed with interesting things to see and hear. Very humid. Great for young children. Family ticket (2 adults, 3 children) cost 34 euros.

Great place for a family visit. You'll get to see lots of butterflies, some birds and koi carps. It feels like in a tropic forest. We and especially our daughter liked it. The parking is free. You can save some money if you leave your car there when you want to visit Honfleur. The centre is not to far.

Our family of 4 (with a 5 and 8 yo) visit the Naturospace in June 2016 on a rainy day. We were fascinate with the set up and the number of butterfly. You are really taken to another place. Inside, you follow a little path and look around : It's not big but it's enough to discover plants, birds and... More

An oasis of nature, full of butterflies (and some interesting birds) in a large bubble of exotic vegetation. You literally have hundreds of butterflies flying within inches of your face so you can get great close up pictures - camera lenses will mist up to begin with due to the high humidity. You can also see the various stages of... More
