This is a quite remarkable garden, diverse both in its styles of design and the plants grown. The lovely formal house is set behind a lawn of rich greenness and beyond it an informal garden rich in colour with, in September, diverse hydrangeas offering rich colour. To the rear of the house a more formal garden within clipped box hedges... More

Quiet haven of colour set around a 18th century manor house in the middle of rolling French countryside, easy to find 10 miles from Rouen. Massive collection of hydrangeas of a wide variety, themed whites, pink and blues; formal French garden with topiary at rear, cottagey/woodland planting at the front with gentle but skilful asrchitectura; placings of benches and shapes.

Large, deliciously-planted garden at the front of the property, in a cottage-garden style. Lovely design and wide range of beautiful plants. At the back of the house is an exquisite, formal-style, white garden. We adored Jardins d'Angelique. So peaceful.

For rose-lovers, this is an amazing garden to visit in June, but they also have hundreds of other varieties of flowering plants, all beautifully combined in gorgeous abundance and carefully chosen so that there are a lot of things flowering all through the summer. (We visited late June and could see the last of the peonies and poppies and the... More

Love this romantic, scented garden! There is an English Garden, a French Garden and a very small Japanese Garden

Although relatively small, the garden is beautifully tended with lots of places to sit and enjoy the surroundings. We spent two hours there (on a lovely summers day) and could have stayed longer. Although it was difficult to find an accurate address for the satnav the garden is well signed once you get into the local area. Although not readily... More
