Sucha warm, lively place to wonder around in especially now that they have completely sanitised the place; no dog pooh even? Quiet remarkable.

This is the main thoroughfare in Aix-en-Provence. There are lots of cafes and shops along this street. The most famous & oldest cafe is Les Deux Garcons(1792) where Cezanne frequented.

Look...Aix is a great city but this November the whole downtown was a mess, couldn't drive or park properly, workers all over, some streets were simply closed with no indications etc..perhaps the Mayor is on holiday !?

There are many restaurants along the way as well as historical remains - I found the fountains intriguing. The Pont was being renovated, should be really great when finished as it is an impressive structure. It's an easy walk with many points of interest along...More
