Beautiful square in Avignon but don't eat there... Food is priced for tourists and is in general pretty poor quality. Great restaurants in the side streets (everywhere) so take a little time and go for a wander you will find a gem. If you are...More

I didn’t have s meal / drink. It felt less intimate than other squares. Looked like fun today though for watching the soccer game :-)

It’s a lovely square to have a coffe or light lunch - but don’t go for the food. Go for the people watching and a place to relax for a few minutes. Many cafes there and a few shops. Even gelato - and a carousel....More

A beautiful part of town. Great for having a drink or a coffee at one of the many cafes. But avoid the food at all costs, we learned the hard way.

It’s a treat to amble through this lively square on a nice spring day. There’s tons of eateries, though you’ll likely get a better meal elsewhere as you’re paying for atmosphere here.

Lots of interesting buildings and plenty of cafes, so it's great for people watching over a coffer or a mine. The restaurants leave a bit to be desired though, tourist junk food mainly. Not really a problem as the are many great alternatives a short...More
