In the of Southern Rhône Valley's most legendary appellation, the House of Ogier has, for over 155 years, been an influential producer of excellent wines and an advocate of a certain way of life. Today, our century-old cellars, among the most extensive in the Rhône Valley, are housed in Middle-Age style buildings. But they are also lively places open to all, with a tasting area where you can learn about Ogier's Terroir Expertise and our Art of Ageing wine. There are many ways to enjoy the Rhône Valley Experience and explore the History of the House of Ogier. We hope you will join us to discover more...

The Domaine Ogier is one of the large wineries in Chateaunef-du-Pape and have a large selection of wines from cooperating producers/growers in addition to their own special ones. We paid for a full tour of the winery and got an excellent guide speaking good English. She showed us the nice setup of the different terroirs (they have examples of the... More

This small winery started out as a barrel maker in 1859 and is located on the outskirts of Chateauneuf-du-Pape, 12 km north of Avignon. They subsequently became a wholesaler & importer who turned to blending & aging before merging and acquiring a walled vineyard in 1999. Our visit was part of a tour where we were shown their storage &... More

We visited Ogier at the recommendation of our host. This is a larger winery at Chateauneuf. It was recommended for it's award winning wines and that they are welcoming to English speakers. As it turned out, there was no one who spoke English when we visited. Yes, several of their wines won high praise from the critics, but guess what... More

Beautiful winery to visit. They produce many different wines, varying from 6 to 100 euro bottles. We tasted the Chateauneuf du pape white wine and were not very font of it. We tasted the heritages blanc and the Vacqueyras red and they both tasted wonderful. I couldn't believe the heritage was a 6 euro bottle with so much flavor an... More

Had a great visit chez Ogier, which started not as a wine but barrel maker. Especialy the communication of four major terroirs and single vineyard wines made of those were cleaver communication of soul and essence. Wines in general great value for money and talented team behind does great work. Remember not to miss the view to castle ruins from... More

We visited this winery for the 2nd time in a year, the lady who hosted us was knowledgeable and made the information fun to listen to. We tasted a wide selection of wines but didn't rate them as well as last year's wines, and for this calibre of wines it was disappointing

Our first choice was not available, so we were directed to Domaine Ogier. An excellent recommendation. The staff was very knowledgeable and helped us enjoy the wine. Well worth the visit - and purchase.

Very impressed with the setting and the presentation. The host was very good at explaining the various types and terroirs. Let us taste quite a few excellent wines. It was a great stop in incredible wine country.

We came here with a tour from Avignon. We were greeted very happily and were spoken to in English throughout the whole thing. She did a wonderful job! A very lovely collection of wine is made here and we got to try 3 different wines. Great experience!

My friends and I were very impressed with this place as it has a good variety of wines from the region. We were helped by the knowledgeable and friendly Ben Dadi. He was extremely helpful and did a great job of packing up our wine so we could take it on the plane with us. Apparently he is only there... More
