Had a lovely ferry crossing out to the island and were able to spend a few hours wandering around, all very simple and quiet just a short distance from the bustle of Cannes.

We took de boat from the old port to the island. We got a guided tour of the Monastry and did some wine tasting. Peaceful setting.

We took the boat from Cannes, 15 minutes later we went ashore on this small, chRming island. Very calm and pleasant. Took a swim in fantastically clear water.

This is a little island off the coast from Cannes. It has been home to various monastic communities for c.1600 years. Today there is a community of Cistercians on the island, who engage in a variety of agricultural enterprises, including a reputable vineyard. Their wines...More

Ile Saint-Honorat is a small island near Cannes (next to the larger one Île Sainte-Marguerite) and so I didn't expect too much of the trip. But it way exceeded my expectations... I was immediately charmed by the island's quite beauty, greenery, and stony beaches. But...More

Loved the serenity of this island from start to finish! It was a relaxing 15-20min ferry ride which cost 16.50euro pp (adult). The island itself is small and a leisurely 2 hr stroll was enough for us to circumnavigate the island, explore the old ruins...More

The island as a whole offers quietness and beautiful landscapes. However, we recommend that you come during the week when there are fewer people.
