Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Located in the centre of the city of Cannes, parallel to the seafront and Croisette Boulevard, it is bordered by many shops, real estate agencies and some restaurants, which makes it the busiest thoroughfare in the city.
It stretches in the west-east direction in total length of 1.1 km and bears the name of the city of Antibes to which it leads.
It is not a pedestrian zone, so, it can be a little bit crowded, especially during Cannes Film Festival.
It's worth a visit.

There are shops and stores to suit everyone's pockets along this famous street. We wandered for a while looking in lots of windows and loving things that we couldn't afford!!! Lovely street but very busy with people and cars, even in February.

If you are looking fora bit of shopping in luxury stores in a luxury town, this is the place. Alternatively, you may just want to look in the windows or see if you can spot anyone famous. About a 30 minute walk at a leisurely pace. This isn't a mall, it is a shopping strip with cars, traffic and people. Lots of people.

Many good shops for a holiday shopping tour. But unfortunately not traffic-calmed, which makes this street very stressful.
No matter if in the morning or in the afternoon, there have been traffic jams. It stinks of exhaust fumes and annoyed drivers honk their horns. We found it anything but a pleasant experience.
Tip: take the train to Nice for 25 minutes, there are beautiful pedestrian zones where you can shop and enjoy in a relaxed way.

The main street for shopping in Cannes. Busy with traffic but a number coffee shops close by. Many famous shops with opportunities to browse as well as buy. Something of an experience.

Overwhelming unless you’re in night disco wear and loud yourself ! Do you have some skimpy outfits to wear? Do you like masses of people crowded into one small area? Do you enjoy waiting on the street for a table for an hour or more? Do you have high tolerance for noise? Then this is THE place for you 😄!

A vast array of shops running the length of this street- this is different from la Croisette which is like Bond St on Sea. Rue d'Antibes has lots of clothes shops- a shoppers dream! For bored other halfs there are plenty of bars a restaurants dotted along the way

This street is home to some of the top fashion boutiques (think Chanel, Prada, etc.) but if you walk further past these places and away from the luxe hotels of the Croisette, you'll find more reasonably priced stores. (There are two Zara's, Sephora, etc.) Basically this street is great for shopping in general.
However, if you're standing looking down Rue d'Antibes with your back to the Vieux Port, head to your left a few streets towards the train station. Here tucked away are less touristy shops where the locals go. Great bargains and also some great restaurants.

This is a one way street with aluminium poles all along between the pavement and the road so that cars cannot stop even for a minute. The street is spotless, the planters and drains are made in stainless steel very high end and the road sparkles! Shops are amazing for choice. High end designers are not here but are on the Rue de Croisette promenade.

Mvg, Marleen
