Mornings in Cannes are not mornings without a visit to the Marché Forville, even just a walk through is satisfying for the color and the market noise. The enormous selection of foodstuffs sometime punctuated by special additions, such as stands where local restaurants display their tasties. Treat yourself here to a high quality take home lunch. Definitely not street food.... More

Everything you could eat is on display here in a morning, from an olive to a whole salmon. An amazing variety of cheeses, fruit, veg., fish, meats etc. is provided on maybe a hundred stalls. This is a covered market, so if it rains, once a month, you can spend lots of time in the dry. There's plenty of places... More

The traders are up at the crack of dawn and they've usually finished setting up by around ~7:00AM It's mainly a fruit & vegetable market but there were butcher, fishmongers and bakery stalls as well. It was lovely walking past the market each morning and it's a fun quick activity just to go in and have a quick nosey. As... More

On a Monday this market is for antiques and second hand stuff. So don't go if you are expecting a lovely array of French delices, which we were from the reviews! Interesting things on show, but not what we wanted!

We enjoyed many farm markets in France. This would be our favorite. We bought a nice bagel, tomatoes, olives, cheese and Parma ham. Fresh and well priced. Must stop.

Sums it up, the place is brilliant. We tried a few of the pates, meats and cheeses and weren't disappointed. If you stop near a friendly vendor you'll also get a sample of everything he's selling. Be warned though, once you try, you will try and eat everything!! Mornings only

You HAVE to visit this famous food market! (Mornings only.) It looks and smells amazing - all the fresh produce (fruit, salads, cheeses, meats, home-made food, fresh pasta, wild mushrooms, fresh and dried herbs, fresh fish, oils and olives, vinegars and vegetables) such a feast. It is lively and happy, there are large stalls and small, sometimes just one elderly... More

A typical southern French market with goodies paints will lick your fingers. I tasted a few and of course, the famous tarts tropezienne. Delicious! You will find fruits, pies, tarts, meat specialties, everything that you want in style local dishes. And it is very close to Rue Meynadiere.Vanzatorii are nice and invites you to taste.

The colorful and lively market located in the heart of the city is a very interesting place where you can spend some time enjoying the colors, smells and tastes of fresh fruits, cheese, vegetables and other food. There are also many relaxing cafes in the neighborhood!

Marche Forville Market is a covered food market that’s open daily from 7:30am to 1:00pm. It’s a great spot to shop for fresh produce as well as food souvenirs. We had some delicious baby bananas and mini strawberries and picked up some homemade olive paste to take home. There are also a few vendors selling cooked items on the spot... More
