Lovely informative friendly train.

We tried to take this train on two separate days in the first week of October. Since there were only 4 of us both times and no one else, they wouldn't do the trip. We understood we weren't enough people but it's a shame they won't shorten the train (it has three long detachable cars) in the low season and... More

Stayed in Grasse with my friend. We love exploring the local area. This little train took us to places we hadn't found on foot and told us about places that looked very ordinary from the outside but certainly weren't inside. Lots of fun.

Our mum (70+) visited Nice for the first time and the little train was a fantastic way to discover Nice. For 10 Euro per person, you are taken through the little streets of the old town and then up the hill where you have a stunning view over the city and the bay. The comments (in 8 languages!) are very... More

We loved the itinerary that brought us all - 8 persons - to La Bonne Mère... it was very windy and had to hold us all hand by hand in order not to fly ! It's worth the visit. Warmly recommended and not expensive. We paid 8€ both ways. There is a train every 20 minutes and you can take... More

What a lovely way to see this beautiful town! We got a concise overview of Grasse whilst being kept informed of historic landmarks by interesting commentary. This tour, however, isn't for the faint-hearted : this little train weaves its way through the most narrow and the most winding of roads, at times we got to touch town walls on either... More

The town is built on a hill so this is a very good way to go up and down the very narrow steep streets whilst listening to a good commentary.

I have visited Grasse for 20 years and have rather shunned the little yellow train. However a friend was staying with a bad knee so we thought we would give it a try. It is an absolute must! Headphones provide a bit of information about the town but don't overwhelm you. The residents, who I would expect to find the... More

You'll find one of these trains in almost every city or village, these days. Some are a waste of time and money, this one you can dream and re-dream every moment! Of course, it's Grasse, high on a hill (!) overlooking the French Riviera, and, I must say that the train itself is clean and comfortable. The guide/driver is friendly,... More
