Great gorge and the area is just beautiful. If you bring little ones, be careful as the footing is precarious and often very narrow. I would recommend also stopping by Gourdon since you are so close.

So we started at the Florian Confiserie (worth a trip in itself) and walked north for around an hour to the second bridge over the Loup river. You walk along the path first to the east of the river, then west (first bridge), then east...More

It was so hot and we were able to refresh ourselves from the pure mountain crystal water. Big rocks in the middle of the stream, strong flowing water, ice cold and heavenly prickly on your skin. You need to walk a little to get a...More

The gorges du loup are beautiful. Half day trip from the coast on small winding roads. Ancient villages like Gourdon underway. The waterfalls are spectacular and worth a visit. Find a nice place to go down to the river and enjoy the clear waters.

You'll need a car to get here, but it truly makes the most wonderful day out and the nature is absolutely spectacular!
