Well worth the drive and fighting through the mist and the rain, only to have great vistas and views from the top. The river was not in spate, so there was not much to see at the bottom. A great drive.

Close to my house in France, a lovely area, twisting roads but well worth the view, and wonderful if you want to escape the heat of the nearby villages and towns.

We stopped off on our way back from Gordon to Antibes. Access is now controlled and it costs a bit to get in; but only 1 Euro per person. The machine takes cash & credit, but note if you are doing more than one person...More

Excellent if you want to escape the heat. Great walks, you can park the car at the car park near the Confiserie Florian factory and take the path.

We drove a 6 speed diesel car along these paved but twisty roads through gorgeous country. There are places for photo ops along the route. The rugged country is all Nature. It is close to town venues and worth the side trip.

For 1 euro this is worth a visit. From the gorge viewing point you can drive to 'Florian' and take a walk along the gorge stream. A few spots to have a dip. A pleasant walk.

Plan on spending the day! It is pretty underdeveloped and therefore LOTS of untouched beauty. This also means it's best to pack a picnic! Traffic can be pretty bad in the summertime.

Absolutely loved the drive from Nice to Gourdon via the gorges. Initially, we were surprised to know it is not vwery well known.. Mlater, we were thankful as this place is still pristine with minimal visitors.

Went there by rental car from Grasse.Great scenery, but the gorges were less spectacular than expected.Highlight was the village built right on top of the rocks.
