Good for the views

This place has some spectacular vistas over port area and rest of Nice. Can be reached either on foot or by bus. For adventitious ones, by bike.

Mont Boron is an ideal target for demanding exercise, if you walk, run or cycle up there from the Port - the elevation is abt 200 meters. But you can also take bus no 14 all the way. Up there you can start by taking the Bellevue round path in the south end. The place as such is nothing special,... More

We drove up to Mont Boron when we passed it, going from Nice to Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat. Ideal spot for a quick visit as you can drive all the way up (there's a small parking at the top) and then take in beautiful sights of Nice on one side and Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat and Villefranche-Sur-Mer on the other side.

Mont Boron is NOT to be confused with Castle Hill which is on the opposite (West) side of Nice port. Mt Boron offers better panoramic views over Promenade des Anglais than from Castle Hill, and also great views looking East over the Bay of Villefranche, the Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild, Cap Ferrat and further East towards Eze. There is nowhere... More

Very good place for morning or afternoon walk. A bit difficult to get there (expensive taxis, rare busses) - we travelled from nearest tram station ( St Jean d'Angély-Université ). Fortress is closed but you can walk around it and it is really nice. Note that there are no shops, stands mear by so take some water/food, especially in summer.

Found this by accident. A long way to climb but definitely worth it for a fantastic view - puts Castle Hill to shame!

We took the city bus there, spent time walking around the park, discovered a moat and the drawbridge and gate around what is/was Fort Boron. Lots of park area, paths, different plants. Nice place to relax and enjoy nature
