The length and breadth of this thoroughfare along the seaside glistens as you meander along the shore....

Stunningly beautiful especially from the port end looking along. Just a lovely place to stroll or simply sit and look at the sea. Always plenty to watch.

Wow, what a wonderful promenade! Long, wide and space for everyone! I did see changes after what happened last year, but even without that I've never felt unsafe for one moment. We have walked during the afternoon and night. It's especially nice during the night...More

Good clear water in the sea and the rocks are smooth but I would bring beach shoes. The promenade has lots of coffee shops and bars.

Nice is known for its Mediterranean coastline and this is the best place to experience it. Go down to a sandy part of the beach for the best experience.

You can travel to a beautiful family friendly sandy beach nearby in Antibes. You can get a bus or train there very easily. The beaches in Nice are not child friendly in my opinion.

Dogs are allowed in any part of the beach. It's a 14 km single pebble beach, no breaks in between. So you can take your dog on the beach.
