Saint Nicolas cathedral is very small it’s and it’s situated 2km from Nice ville. In my opinion 15min. is more than enough to visit it :)

My wife is Russian so I'm used to orthodox cathedrals, and this certainly matches those I've visited in Russia, clearly all the more impressive being set in Nice. On a practical level it's free to visit although I understand that guided tours available.

Stunning architecture of this cathedral both inside and out. Located to the north of the city but is accessible from the Nice hop-on hop-off sightseeing bus.

Beautiful Russian Orthodoc Cathedral. The building itself reminds you of Russia and St. Petersburg or Moscow. Inside the art work is stunning. Well worth visiting for something that looks out of place but is part of France ( the Russian emigre community).

I have always been intrigued by the notion of "Russians in France" --- it goes back to the times of Tolstoy and then there is the important novelty of modern Russians in France. Anyway, we were attracted by our literary fantasies, and it worked out...More

Cathedral Saint Nicholas is a wonderful place to visit when in Nice. Look around the walls at the beautiful works of art, the whole cathedral is a work of art.

Beautiful church! I took a nice stroll to this beautiful church and was struck by the peace and beauty here. Inside, there are beautiful paintings on the walls along with historic artifacts. I did not see any material in English, but I would have loved...More

I have seen many people in a wheel chair around this area so I would say yes it is possible. Be aware of busier times for crowded space throughout the flower market on the earlier part of the day.
