It was nice to go and have a look but not very exciting - a bit boring really .. It seemed to be just offices in old premises.

Nice central square, easy to find and hard to miss. Color-changing glass sculptures look beautiful in the evening. Nearby fountains provide endless entertainment for the kids during the long summer evenings. Ferries wheel and Christmas village are added for the winter. Center of the Carnival performances in February.

The Place Massena idefinitelly the exact center if the city. It's very beautiful during the day, but in the evening it shows a completely different face. The colourful fountains, lots of street art, people gathering- a very pleasant and unique atmosphere! A definite must-see in Nice!

Unfortunately, place Massena was still being restored while we were in Nice, but it was impossible not to notice how beautiful this square is. I was really impressed by the lines that dominate this wonderful spot. Take a look at my pics: everything moves around round lines.

Everything from live entertainment to great shops and an exquisite park for children and adults alike. Gorgeous fountains. ..in winter Ferris wheels and Xmas boutiques...in spring Mardi Gras...called Carnival...in summer jazz festivals. Amazing glass sculptures light up the night. Beautiful NIce!

Place Massena is the large central square through which you will walk on numerous occasions if you are staying in Nice. It is a huge open area bisected by tram lines and ending in a large fountain containing the Apollo sculpture. Dotted around the square are seven large pedestals topped by kneeling men representing the seven continents which illuminate in... More

This is Nice's main square where much activities takes place and it connects to the old town. There is all sorts of human activities to watch.

Nice place to wander around & view - nothing much here other than shops & cafes but okay particularly on a sunny day if you want some shade.
