After coming by this church several times on my walks around the city, I finally took a closer look. It was nice, but not amazing - when going inside I felt like I had seen it all before; the pillars, the stain glass windows, the candles ... But since it's free, and since you will most likely pass by it... More

Old small catholic church. OK to visit if you pass by. It is OK if you hqve not seen too many cqtholic churches

It was rather strange to find a replica of the Parisian Notre Dame in Nice. Of course, the basilica is much smaller and is lacking the details that make the Parisian cathedral so breathtaking. However, it's still a quaint church which brings a touch of Gothica into Nice.

Enjoyed our visit to the Basilique Notre Dame in Nice. Such a beautiful cathedral to visit and walk around. Recommend visitors see it as it is well worth it.

I was walking two block away from this church when I saw the sign that said Notre-Dame so I decided to check it out. I liked the outside facade but as far as inside, it was quite simple, nothing elaborate.

Wonderful to look at inside and out.Worth taking a stroll past at night as it is illuminated. There is a little park round the back to have a sit down and to get away from the busy Avenue Jean Medecin.

This basilica is very easy to find as it sticks out from the busy shopping street. It was beautiful to see both in the daytime and nighttime (it was well-lit). The church interior isn't fancy, but it is conducive to a few minutes of quiet contemplation.Yes, a few minutes is all that it would take for you to see and... More

First, beware of pickpockets and beggars. Second, this basilica is small than other basilica we've seen around Europe and the different is the seat is wooden seat - individual seating, old seat design, not bad. There are lots of different kinds of candles to sell for prayer in each of the statues. Last, still beautiful although the size is smaller... More

Worth going into. It is located on the main shopping area. So you can do your historical visit and then let your spouse go shopping Nice area and lots of cafés nearby.

If you see other famous cathedrals in Europe, Basilique Notre-Dame de Nice will not be seen different or amazing. However, it is of course in must seen list of Nice. This is a few minutes away walk from Place Massena.
