Really enjoyed the views. Nice way to spend some time in Nice. The free elevator really helps take up strollers and people unable to climb lots of stairs. Well worth a visit.

Climbing up or taking the lift up to Castle Hill is well worth it. The views of the coastline, port and old town are amazing. Unfortunately the day we went it was very cloudy and raining.

Took Iift up but there was a Q,and only one lift working, took steps back down, much nicer way to come down. Views were amazing of the old town and beyond. Make sure you dont miss the waterfall.

There is a lift to take you up or you can walk up the stairs or the little road train heads up there as part of its tour. Be prepared for a bit of a wait for the lift as there are only 2 and...More

To get there you have to climb a lot off stairs there is a way to get there by car. The views are very nice but if you travel around and see the views you skip this place.

Montee du Chateau par ascenceur [Castle Hill] is worth the climb to experience the great panorama views of Nice & the Mediterranean Sea. We arrived to late to use the elevator, but had the change to watch the sunset. It was wonderful

Clean paths, steep climb, but absolutely worth it. You can approach the Port from the "Old Town" side and enjoy exquisite views of the Bay of Angels

Castle Hill is located next to Nice old Town and accessible via upstairs, street or free elevator (lift). Green park is on a top of a hill. Several rest areas and view areas.

I don't know but assume lift will be out of action and gate locked due to waterfall etc for Health and Safety reasons.

As you face the Hôtel Suisse, its to the left - there is a doorway into a tunnel that leads to the lift. It is signposted, which helps as you cant see the actual lift from the road

Google Cascade Du Casteu and you'll find it. It's basically on the west side of the top of the hill where the highest viewpoint is.

No idea, sorry. I was aware that they close the park at 8pm, although it would be great - at least in summer - to be able to enjoy the views up there longer. But hey, they’re French!
