In Summer, we have considered this old public garden to be a lovely spot for picnics on the lawn or a place to retreat in shaded seating areas. Towering trees also offer shade above benches. Offerings include an old-time carousel for the children and interesting...More

One of the oldest gardens in Nice and a lovely green area between the Promenade des Anglais and the Place Massena. It’s a nice place to relax, have a picnic and often used by locals particularly those having their lunch break. There are interesting sculptures,...More

A Little Green Pause, with fountains, and concerts in Summer. Really nice and pleasant to take a tiny break from the city or the beach

Lovely to take time to eat by the fountains or just spend time people watching. Locals use it alot and we loved seeing the painters and those doing their boot camp exercises.

Do plan for some downtime and stroll through Albert the 1st garden. Lots to see and do. At the end, it transitions into a riot of fun section of park called Promenade de Paillon. That is the subject of another review. Albert's park was established...More
