situated at the far end of the town towards the port and sitting at the bottom of the old ruined castle (Castel-Castle / Plage-Beach). Castle Plage beach has great views around the bay towards the airport. Picnic here in the winter and watch the sun go down or have aperos or dine at the Castel Plage restaurant (great food -... It takes some efforts to climb up but the view from top is awesome. You can get some pics clicked with the picturesque view of Nice beach.

The weather was really good. It is a long beach where you can have a long walk. There are nice restaurants and cafes around.

This was one of the best days on our honeymoon. Yes, you pay to rent the chairs, the umbrella, towels, food and service. But, it is all worth it. I got a $40 beer. But, it was a huge beer and tasted great. It lasted me hours. The beach may have rocks, instead of sand. But we didn't mind at... More

What can i say, amazing torqouise water, beatiful views and clean beaches. The location on the promenade des englais is also a bonus as everything seems to meld together. Would reccomend a trip to the top of the hill for the best view of nice

I have this same photo, what a beautiful view of the ocean and town. Lots of steps but worth the hike.

You had to pay to rent a chair on the beach, but the waiters came right to you and you had easy access to the water. If you want to swim you do need to use the rope or shimmy down the steep hill into the water. They had the Blonde of Saint Tropez beer which was really tasty, they... More

We didn't pay the 20 euros but instead walked round the sun loungers and joined the locals on what is called Plage Publique des bains de la Police right on the curve before the port. It's stoney and hard to walk on, but the Promenade des Anglais is all like that. Plenty of local people were sunbathing on towels, and... More

It seems all the private beaches charge 20 euros for a lounger and 5 for a parasol and this place was no different. That said the part of the bay was quiet and pretty, the loungers were good and the staff friendly. If you want to save some money take your food in a bag and hop over the fence... More

We spent a day here recently at this beach club and loved it. The staff were polite and unobtrusive. The facilities are excellent and everything is on hand. We had lunch which was a beautiful sea bass. The waiter offered to fillet it for us which he did very well. Perfect wine list. Why not five stars? The beds are... More
