About
This pebble beach is tucked away on the northern side of St-Jean-Cap-Ferrat, with the yachts of well-heeled residents dotting its pristine waters. Let waitstaff from the beach restaurant pamper you, delivering food and drink to your sunbed. Then, cool down with a dip—the calm surf is excellent for snorkeling. Parking is located at the main shopping area of the peninsula, and there’s a steep flight of stairs to conquer on your walk to the cove. As an alternative to driving, hop on a bus from Nice or admire Paloma from afar as part of a boat tour of the coast. – Tripadvisor

The only downside is port parking is a good 15 mins walk and you'd be lucky to find anything closer!Visited July 2023Travelled with familyWritten 18 July 2023

Crowded and overpriced. It is supposed to be 100€ for 1st row and you get 40€ worth of food. We were 2 people and ate for less than 40€ each but somewhow we ended up payimg 250€ and the waiter was like how would you like to pay tips. How rude

Lovely beach just not sandy like I thought it would be. We enjoyed some time in the water (be sure and bring water shoes) then enjoyed an ice cream cone before heading back to Nice.

Staff deliberately tried to over charge us. I would have called this a one off but it happened exactly the same last year. They don’t print the bill and call out the total….. dreadful when they try to rob you having spent sooo much on a sun lounger (50 euro each) and food is average for the price.

Beach is very beautiful with great views and clear and calm water. We took the bus from Nice, walked the sentier and brought a sandwich with us and bought a beer at the restaurant for 3 euros. Great day. we did not use the chairs or eat the food so cannot comment on the 'private section'

I arrived to Nice earlier this week and called the phone number listed on the Paloma Beach website to make a reservation for two lounge chairs. The Paloma Beach employee took down my name, phone number, party size, and expected date and time of arrival. The day of my reservation, I arrive to Paloma Beach and the front desk staff say that my reservation is nowhere to be found. She said all the chairs had been booked a month in advance and that I should have received a confirmation text. I confirmed on their seat map that my name, or a derivative of it, was not listed. The employee I spoke to on the phone did not confirm my reservation nor inform me that all of the chairs were already reserved for the day I planned on going. I would have appreciated knowing that ahead of time rather than after taking an expensive taxi to St. Jean Cap Ferrat. I should have heeded to the bad reviews that describe the service as abysmal.

Very overpriced for average food. The staff were very rude and had real attitude. Save ypir money, there are better restaurants out there with sea views!

Voglio solo dire che lo stabilimento balneare alla paloma era una istituzione e non vedere i lettini e gli ombrelloni in quella baia incantevole mi ha molto amareggiato.

How much does it cost to hire beds on paloma beach for the day and also how did you reserve in advance? By phone? Thanks in advance for your help

Hi Charlotte, I didn't hire beds because I went at the end of May and the free beach right next to it was pretty empty. However, I remember a price of 26€ for the beds at that time. I might advice you to book few days in advance, I guess that during full summer season it can get really busy.
