Just a short walk from the harbour. The open point/gardens give views of the harbour, the Cathedral, the large tour ships, the nearby islands, the Mediteranean and all the boats entering and leaving the harbour. My favourite place to sit, ponder and plan my next moves.

Having stayed at the Novotel next to the palais, we decided to take the kids over to the park in front of the palais and it was one of the high lights of our trip. TO start with it's a great open spot, perfect for a picnic if you want and the view is amazing. The kids loved watching the... More

Short walk up from the port. Stunning views across the city and out to sea. We stopped and had a lovely coffee at the little café in the grounds. Lots of benches and would be a great place to have a picnic.

We walked from Vieux Port to the Palais on a sunny day. Surprised by the views! Stunning vista of the harbor and the Med. You can't tour the palace, but the view is worth the walk.

The building is not for visits, but the grounds are well-used by locals for a stroll, soccer, picnics, etc. This is a great thing for you to do as well! Sit, relax and enjoy the view! I'm not a fan of the modern art that they parked in front of the Palais, but other than that, it was a nice... More

Beautiful place to have a picnic or enjoy a moment with a book! We had a blast watching sailors trying to haul in their sails before reaching the old port.

I stumbled upon this attraction while walking around the city and looking for a nice place for a outdoor lunch. It's a nice open park with a beautiful view of the harbor and surrounding areas. It's a great place to take a panoramic shot of the port city and also to just sit at the park bench and enjoy a... More

I caught the bus up one evening from Vieux Port after a long day walking around, though it's easily reachable on foot. Overall, there's not much there, but it's still a lovely little area to visit! Very quiet, with a perfect view facing Vieux Port head on, you can also see the other large port and out to the Med.... More

We wandered round here to get a view of the harbour and the city "from the other side" as it were, and we had a really lovely morning. The small area of parkland by the Palais is lovely and provides a great place to sit and relax and take in the views of the harbour and the islands further out... More
