Nothing exceptional, but a nice place to walk around and watch people doing their daily business. There is a small fruit market section but mostly the market is about clothes and souvenirs. As usual, beware of pickpockets, but the place is safe.

We heard that that market was something special but it isn't at all. The products are poor and quite expensive for being a market. Fruit and vegetables are overpriced. You can find much better prices in other places of the city.

This market runs from the Castellane Metro stop along Avenue du Prado for hundreds of stalls on both sides of the large sidewalk. From clothing to meat, from purses to vegetables this market will allow the tourist to find anything they might be seeking in...More
