IT's possible that this has been disbanded, since it was erected for the 2013 Cultural Capital of Europe - but if not and still there - see this Pavillion M on the Vieux Port - behind the Hotel d' Ville (City Hall). You won't be...More

The Pavillon M may not be a permanent fixture in the city, as it was erected for the 2013 Cultural Capital of Europe, but if it's still there it is worth a visit. One reason being the very friendly travel/tourist desk on the second floor;...More

This is an exhibition with great use of technology. Much to see and learn about the development of and life in Marseille. It is a temporary exhibit in a large wooden structure one block back from the Vieux Port in front of the Intercontinental Hotel.

I was here with my 6-year old and we both loved this free museum which has different exhibits and information about Marseille. It also has an art exhibition on the top floor which captures something about the city's atmosphere; must be the seagulls!

This place is good if you don't know anything about the city of Marseille. But it's working a little bit like a promotional area, good statistics and postal cards pictures are to expect. But it's interesting as a beginning. I regret the lack and poorness...More

Just off the Old Port, this fascinating temporary structure is worth exploring if you have an hour or so. Much larger on the inside than it appears to be from the outside, there are exhibition spaces on three levels which showcase the cultural programme of...More
