Beautiful classic tourist spot. You cannot say you were in Paris if you do not visit. I have to stop by whenever I am in Paris. The neighborhood is a charm too!

Peaceful and quiet, voluminous and awe-inspiring, this sits on an unassuming corner on Avenue du Prado on one of the main avenues in Marseille. The interior is beautiful and the stained glass windows so striking, takes your breath away.It was only round the corner from our...More

Just befor the place castellane, this church is dedicated to the victims of the war of the 1940 very big but typically french. Not as decorated as notre dame de la garde but it has good regular activities specially with the Christians of Lebanon.

We were in Marseille in last Christmas and visited this place. We took Merto line 2 and got down at Perier station. This was built in around 1920. This basilica is one the most beautiful one. The sculpture of Madonna and the Child was excellent.

This Romano-Byzantine style church is nice enough, but not too elaborate. In fact, compared to other churches it is rather plain, but has its own charm. It is rather nicely decorated without being too "fancy". We came across it after walking quite a distance and...More

Can't agree with previous reviews about the holiness, etc. of the site. Inside seems to be a touch elaborate, not really a place to pray, more to take photographs. I don't think it compares to the cathedral in Aix-en-Provence, which is austere, yet incredibly moving...More
