Scenic view with a monument and a statue to the Armées d'Afrique. Great place to stop, relax, look around and catch your breath as you gaze out at the islands off the coast.

The Corniche is the main thoroughfare running along the coast, linking the main town of Marseille with the southern suburbs and beaches. It often gets clogged-up with traffic so choose your timing to travel. It is packed with history.

A long drive along the seafront, the corniche President J-F Kennedy runs about 3 miles, passing elegant villas and the Monument aux morts de l'armée d'orient dedicated to the heros of the wars in the orient and distant lands.

Pretty picturesque street that passes by the sea. On one side there are beaches and sea, and on the other is the city. Here is Petit Train Marseille.
