Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This beach is much too small and crowded - to the point that it felt uncomfortable. It looks like it will soon be improved so hopefully it will be made larger. If you wish to dip your toes in the Mediterranean, this would be a good place!

Despite the crowds, enjoyed our time on this beach. We were looking to take an afternoon dip within walking distance from the Vieux Port and this place fit the bill. It has showers and cabins to change and the bonus was a beautiful sunset!

I went here for two times at the morning till around 13:45. It have its own chain of people that are visiting the beach where a significant amount is taken by families playing with there child’s. The beach is reachable by the 83/82 Busline and its super sufficient from the Vieux Port. My main impression is that although it was a bit crowded with families it’s worth it when you are alone like me since it was a pleasant and safe (their are free lockers and cabins to redress) experience. I do not know how it is in the deep afternoon but it seems quit a normal place to go to the beach. Tip: If the beach is full then there is one more beach in the direct area of Prado.

Fun small beach, can even snorkel a little, Burger and fries, 5 euros! Cops nice, water warm, showers are handy! Bring a beach umbrella or sizzle. Bus takes you right back to Vieux Port or St Charles, Bus 82. GREAT FUN, you cannot beat this!!!

The beach was very clean and well taken care of. There are two volleyball courts and a small shoreline that is shallow. Surprised at how much people were smoking cannabis, not that it bothers me but if it bothers you then I would avoid this beach.

25-minute walk to the city center, not much parking available.

I went there twice, it was 30 by foot from my hotel. Very close to the city centre. The beach was not overcrowded, and it was clean. It opens at 8.30 in the morning, and closes around 20.00 in the evening. There were 2 lifeguards present. It is not very big, however, the sand was very clean, and the water very clean, as well. Definitely better than Plage du Prophete. I would go there again, definitely.

Only a 15 minute walk from Old Port, the beach lies below a flight of stairs. There's a great view of the Friuli Islands and snack stands/rental of loungers available. The unusual name derives from the arrival of Catalan fishermen (17th century) who did not stay long but the name remains.

The beach is free, public, and convenient. The beach is also crowded.

This beach is easy to reach by food and by public transportation, such as by Bus 82 and 82s. There are toilets, showers and a small kiosk with water, cola etc. Good white sand. Possibility to play beach volleyball on fields that are surrounded by fences, so no troubles for others at the beach. Life guard present. Nice view at islands across the water, including the island with Chateau d'If, i.e. the Island of the book The Count of Monte Christo.
