We are a family of three, with a nine-year boy. We had a great time in Chamonix this January. Jorick was our coach for four days, and he was terrific! His sessions were all great, well-adjusted to the our level of skills and the skiing condition on the day. We learnt a variety of techniques and improved a fair bit after four days (especially our son!) He picked us up at our hotel, and drove us to different areas in Chamonix, based on the snow conditions and for variety of piste. And Jorick is fun, patient and friendly. Our family goes for skiing once a year. We mostly do it in Japan and get a coach every time. We have had German, Japanese and American coaches before, and Jorick is by the far the best coach we have encountered in the past 5 years. I’d strongly recommend Skibex to my friends if they visit Chamonix.

Our instructor Arthur was brilliant. He made our group family ski lesson fun and adapted it to each of our needs. Arthur went above and beyond when our 6 year old was sick on the slopes and he carried him all the way down the mountain so he didn't have to ski.

I had a private lesson with Arthur and it was great. He quickly got my snowboard level and gave me specific instructions on how to improve (I have a beginner level but had already practiced a few times before). He was very kind and patient, great conversation. Also gave me tips about the mountains and the region. Strongly recommend and will have another one if I come back to Chamonix.

We had an excellent experience with Skibex instructor Gabriel. We are a family of four beginner skiers (2 adults, 2 children age 7 and 4). Gabriel taught us over three mornings, graduating from snow ploughs on the beginner slope in central Chamonix to slightly more difficult higher slopes in Les Houches on day 3.
Gabriel was an excellent teacher who was very patient while taking us through all the basics. He quickly spotted areas we found difficult and helped to rectify them. He also took myself and my older son to check out a blue run when he knew my husband could manage my other son on the green run for a short time - so we all got to try skiing runs that were right for us.
Gabriel showed us how to use button and chair lifts and the gondola. He also picked us up from our hotel, helping transport the skis and poles to the slopes which was great as at the start we didn’t know what we were doing. Whilst on the slopes we came across another Skibex teacher who helped take my son up on the chair lift with the child he was teaching.
Skibex also recommended a local company for ski hire (ask him about this). They came to our hotel in Les Houches when we arrived and fitted our boots and poles for us. It was much easier than going to a shop. They also took them from the hotel at the end of our trip.
We have no hesitation recommending Skibex and Gabriel to anybody going skiing around Chamonix.

Jorick was a pleasure from the moment we met. We spoke about my goals, my current technique and built a plan for the two hour private lesson. Jorick is a great instructor who observes, discusses and demonstrates techniques so you have a clear understanding on what you need to do to improve. He also gave me some great drills so I could embed the learning - would highly recommend Skibex.

The Skibex instructors were amazing with our group of children (aged 11 to 16) during their five mornings of lessons. Arthur and Theo were upbeat, friendly and well-prepared for the varying conditions of the slopes. They skied across the different resorts, stretching our children’s ability and teaching them to be more active on their skis, but also having great fun and raising their confidence. The parents appreciated the time they took to feedback on the kids' progress. All seven kids loved their lessons (absolutely no moaning from any of them!) and they want to return next year! Many thanks to Jorick for arranging the lessons too. We are looking forward to seeing you next time!

Booked ski lessons with 3 different companies due to lack of availability due to school holiday rush, last week. I must say ease of booking with Skibex was simply the best!! Jorrick was very helpful and prompt with arranging tuition for us with our instructor Theo. The lesson with Theo was far superior compared to the other 2 well established large main French comercial ski tuition companies we used. He really helped improve my wife's confidence and was amazing with our 2 children. Very passionate and professional with his excellent instructions, helped us all rapidly improve from snow plough turns into parallel.
We had a great learning experience with Theo, he gave us some tips and tricks to continue practicing on our own as well. I would highly recommend taking a course with Theo, who will give you some interesting information about the surroundings as well. We really noticed our progress after taking the course with Theo and can't thank him and
Skibex enough!

We are a family of 4, with two girls aged 12 and 9. After our 3 days with our ski instructor Jorick, we are so happy we chose Skibex.
Jorick was a brilliant instructor for us. We only had 2 lessons before coming to Chamonix. Our abilities and confidence levels were varied. Jorick worked with the 4 of us both as a group and individually to give us the best experience. In just 3 days with Jorick we have all developed our ski abilities beyond our expectations. Jorick was particularly good with our 9 year old as she was very nervous and scared she would get hurt skiing. She is now loving skiing and zooming faster and faster down the slopes.
From our experience with Jorick, Skibex is brilliant. The personalised service, expert knowledge of Chamonix, and the care shown to maximise your ski development, all made our time with Skibex an exceptional experience.
Thank you Jorick. We will certainly book again with Skibex next time we come to Chamonix.

We made a last minute booking for a half day for our kids, who had not skied before.
Started well, with almost instant replies to emails, and everything dealt with efficiently including advice on best place to meet etc.
On the day, Theo was very friendly, and managed to get our twin boys very efficient after their afternoon together. He also looked after them when they got a little too tired, and gave them loads of interesting info about the area which they shared with us over the next few days.
All in all, the perfect ski school experience, and highly recommend both Skibex and Theo.

I have been skiing on and off (more off than on.... hence needing instruction!) since I was 14 and the instructor I had (Theo) was easily the best I've had. Clear, analytical, focused ... and also really sweet, chatty and personable, with perfect English. I wish I had had lessons every day. Added bonus, he teaches young children and has experience with children with SEN issues. I now wouldn't book ski lessons with anyone else in Chamonix and am looking forward to him teaching my daughter to ski next year.
