Views are stunning, if weather is to be good advise booking a time before the day as otherwise need to get to the station very early to avoid a wait of few hours.

A must if you are in Chamonix even if you are not going to ski the Vallee Blanche. The views are stupendous and there are several different exhibitions as well as a cafe.

Wow truely stunning views. To see mont blanc and the other sites from this height is breathtaking. You feel like and eagle being this high up! The fact you can get drinks and food at the top is impressive as well.

Probably too late a response to be of use to you but the gondola ride is no more than ten minutes. We went up to the top & had a relaxing time, all within three hours at most.
