This was a nice little hike, up through the woods, in the snow, up to a lift station that was closed. Really nice views of the glacier. Lots of road side parking places. Very few people - saw only 2 others in our 3 hours...More

The Glacier des Bossons is easy to get to by using the Chamonix Valley buses and is well worth the visit. You find yourself surrounded by beautiful countryside - nature at its best

This is nature at its best. The views are beyond breathtaking. Worth the winding train ride there. Worth every inch walked. The views are stunning. The gift shop, well they weren't quite as nice/impressive.

While in the city of Chamonix, a visit to the Glacier des Bossons is a must. The hardy train takes visitors to this remarkable natural feature. I could not help being sad for our world and the evidence of global warming, however. As you descend...More

Best place to really get close to a Glacier and see the amazing ice. Easy to access with the cable car and a great hike through the woods on an easy path
