We spent an enjoyable afternoon going up on theTrain du Montenvers-Mer de Glace. There's a café at the top with some of the most rude and unhelpful staff I have ever come across, however, don't let that spoil your trip. You then take a little...More

Be ready to walk 400+ steps down and up. The place is worth the stair climbing. It is amazing to see the ice cave and the beautiful lights.

An enjoyable train ride with a grand view. Many steps to the ice cave but worth it. Other exhibits very enjoyable as well.

We took a drive out to Mont Blanc from Annecy for the day, and the train up to Montenvers and gondola to the glacier. The ice cave was pretty cool, the only one we've been too (so cant really judge if it was good comparartively...More

Loved being able to walk inside the glacier in the man made ice caves of the Grotto de Glace. Loved the ice carvings and the St Bernard dog too
