I do get a bit sad for those who get upset for waiting in line, the ques etc etc... wake up early, take the first cable cars up and whaalaaa! I went into this 6 times... literally 6 times @ different hours... never a line....More

It is nice, no doubt about it, but given the magnificent view from the terraces, not a must. The queuing leaves little time to enjoy it, so if it's busy, don't bother.

Kinda scary...not a fan of heights, but still fun. Did it anyway. When you walk out look ahead and not down. They have you wear little covers on your shoes and will take one of your cameras to take your free photos. Quite refreshing that...More

We visited the Auiguille Du Midi out of season so we waited approx 15 minutes in the queue. It's a cool attraction which is free to do & you just hand your phone over to a member of staff who takes pictures free of charge...More

I believe it is - but you may have to double check with the tourist office in Chamonix.
