The Sanglard Sports headquarters is situated at the Place du Mont Blanc roundabout and is open all year round. Our multicultural team will be delighted to welcome you into our store and propose ski and boot rental in winter and mountaineering equipment rental during the summer months. We have a high-tech ski workshop run by Pierrot who has more than 20 years in the business under his belt. If you are in search for the perfect pair of downhill or touring ski boots, look no further!! Our specialists offer a tailor-made bootfitting service and will endeavour to find you the best boots to fit your feet(no matter how weird you think they might be) Our Chamonix shop has free parking and a public underground carpark directly across from the shop(free for the first hour) We also have a large selection of accessories/skis and clothing.

A service just beyond anything else. We arrived late in Chamonix and luckly made it to the rental before the store closed (very + with flexible opening hours for those arriving evening time). Not only were we met with the kindest help, but we also got help from a french employee that spoke Norwegian - I mean..? Not only were we met with exceptional service in the store, we also got a ride by the owner to our hotel. Just beyond. They were also flexible with delivery of the equitment (big +), and they picked up our skiboots at the hotel, as we lived a bit out of town and only were able to deliver our skis after hitting the slopes the last day. Maybe the best customer service I have ever experienced in my life. If you ever go to Chamnoix, there is no doubt in which skirental you should choose!

Great equipment and great customer service - in particular in helping us during the COVID lockdown. The staff were happy when we changed equipment during our hire and helpful in advising on the bear gear. We hired from the Argentiere shop which is really well located next to the main lift. Would highly recommend.

I can’t say enough about Sanglard. Every person we had contact with there was friendly, helpful, and professional. We rented everything from them- all ski equipment and goretex jackets/pants. All of it was perfect. We would use them again in a heartbeat. Equipment was in excellent (like new) condition. Hassle free fittings etc. We were in and out of there within 20 minutes. Unreal!
Returns of gear also quick and easy.

Could not recommend Sanglard enough.
Not only did they spend time to ensure all the gear I was renting was perfect for me but they also allowed flexible return dates/times. This helped enormously.
The staff were all great people - a flawless service throughout.

My husband and I rented mountaineering equipment for a trek we planned nearby. It was easy to reserve online and they had all our gear ready and sized for us when we arrived to pick it up. The process couldn't have gone more smoothly. I also really appreciated their small parking lot in back since there was an event going on in town and all the lots were full.

What a fantastic experience when hiring a bike with Mike the owner at Sanglard, he could not have done anymore to help us pointing us in the right direction and giving us tips on where to cycle. Great bike selection and good prices. If your wanting a first class experience for mountain biking in Chamonix go to Sanglard and ask for Mike.
