The Palais Lumiere gives the visit some feeling of the splendor of turn-of the century Evian, Today it houses temporary exhibitions, which vary in quality. We recently attended one on the Belle Epoque master, Albert Besnard. Highly worthwhile.

This old mansion used to belong to the Lumière family famous for motion, pictures, and photography. It is now the City Hall and a couple of the rooms are open to the public. Nothing fantastic but there are a couple of elegant rooms that you can visit for free.
